Boardman Pewter Baptismal Bowl or Basin, ca. 1820
A clean, large size baptismal bowl attributed to the Thomas Danforth and Sherman Boardman group of Hartford
Connecticut. This piece, using basin and plate components, emulated a form originated by Uncle Samuel
Danforth.
Aside from some use pitting in the interior and a few light dents in the interior, the bowl is in excellent condition.
The bowl has a top diameter of 8-1/2" and stands about 4-1/4 inches tall.
