Robert Bush & Co. 12-1/4" Bristol England dish with LQNDON touchmark, ca. 1793
The partnership was composed of Robert Bush, James Curtis and Preston Edgar but dissolved in 1793. The
touchmarks (see Cotterell 739, as well as Peal - More Pewter Marks 739 and 740) include the B & Co. hallmarks
and the intentional LQNDON mispelling.
The dish shows some wear and has a few minor dings, but no breaks or repairs. Owners initials MC are stamped
in the rim.
