Thomas Danforth III 6-1/8" Connecticut Pewter Plate, ca. 1780

A one-of-a-kind, to my knowledge,  6-1/8" plate by Thomas Danforth III of Rocky Hill Connecticut and Philadelphia
Pennsylvania, 1777-1820.  This 6-1/8" plate is uniquely marked on the inside, rather than as typically marked on
the outside bottom.  Marked with his early used Connecticut circular lion initialled mark (J-114), the plate dates
from his early period and is in excellent overall condition.  As might be expected, the touch mark shows some
wear.
