Pair American 19th C. Homan 14" Pewter Candlesticks
A nice pair of unmarked later 19th century baluster shape candlesticks, firmly attributable to Homan of
Cincinnati. The tallest American 19th candlesticks known at 14", these impressive and rarely marked
candlesticks rest on pawed feet (12-3/4" tall without the feet).
In very good condition, there are a few dings on the base and one solidly repaired foot. The candlesticks also
have reattached tin base plates that show some corrosion and may or may not be original, although tinned
weighted base Homan examples do exist.
