Fine 5-3/4" American Pewter Basin, 1780-1820
Fine condition small size 5-3/4 inch diameter American pewter basin from the late 18th or early nineteenth
century. Makers, including the Hamlin family from Providence Rhode Island, Richard Lee of Massachusetts and
Vermont, and Danforth group in Middletown Connecticut, made basins in the 5-3/4 to 6 inch size range. The basin
is 1-3/4 inches deep.
Nice turnings, with only a little wear.
