Boardman Pewter Old English Handle Taster Porringer, early 19th c., ex. Laughlin



This 3-1/4" diameter bowl Old English type handle porringer is marked TD&SB for the brothers Thomas Danforth and Sherman Boardman. Formerly in the L.I. Laughlin collection as indicated by the sticker attached to back, this porringer handle is photographed as Plate LVII, Figure #428 in Pewter In America, It's Makers & Their Marks by Ledlie Irwin Laughlin.


In good overall original condition.
